Senior Communications Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to support service member wellbeing and provide project and communications support to the Defense Suicide Prevention Office (DSPO).

Key Responsibilities

• Strategize, analyze, develop, and execute written/visual communication content related to suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention
• Design creative messaging products and campaigns to promote suicide prevention efforts and increase audience/user adoption of tools/resources
• Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related technical field and 7+ years of directly related experience
• 10+ years total work experience
• 7+ years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs, or marketing
• Expertise in designing campaign plans in public health or a related topic
• Previous or active Public Trust or security clearance is required
