Senior Communications Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to support the communications efforts for Vail Mountain and Beaver Creek Resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle media inquiries, pitch stories, and develop key messages for the resorts
• Assist in creating and executing a strategic communications plan aligned with business objectives
• Manage social media strategy and content creation while maintaining positive relationships with media and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or Marketing
• 2-3 years of experience in a communications role, preferably in the ski industry
• Intermediate or above skiing or snowboarding ability
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media platforms
• Experience with content creation and social media management tools is a plus
