Senior Communications Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center's mission, the full-time Senior Communications Specialist will manage communications projects, develop accessible content from complex research, and enhance media engagement, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage communications projects from concept through publication, ensuring timely completion and coordination across teams
• Synthesize complex research findings into clear communications materials for policymakers and external audiences
• Support media engagement by drafting press materials and preparing staff for interviews and briefings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public policy, journalism, marketing, or a related field
• Five or more years of professional experience in communications or related fields
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with experience in long-form content
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Professional experience with content management systems and analytics tools
