Senior Communications Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior Communications Specialist will consult with internal partners and vendors to create and manage written and visual communication plans, draft communications, and cultivate content for social media channels.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and edit internal and external communications, including presentations and media materials
• Create and distribute advanced content press releases and manage media databases
• Conduct research and develop content for speeches and presentations while collaborating with management on communication strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience and appropriate judgment
