Senior Communications Specialist

Job Summary

Leading the full communications pipeline for conservation storytelling, the full-time Senior Communications Specialist will develop and execute strategic communication initiatives, manage digital content distribution, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the visibility and reputation of the Institute for Integrative Conservation.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead communications strategy and content planning to elevate IIC research and programs
• Produce and edit compelling narratives, ensuring alignment with institutional voice and brand
• Manage and optimize IIC's digital presence, including website and social media communications

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field
• Significant professional experience in communications or strategic storytelling (typically 5+ years)
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly
• Experience producing and promoting content across various digital channels
• Strong understanding of digital communications and analytics
