Senior Communications Strategist
Job Summary
Leading strategic communications initiatives, the full-time Senior Communications Strategist will develop integrated outreach campaigns and provide expert communications guidance to support public awareness and stakeholder engagement for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), primarily in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies targeting defined audiences and key messages
- Ensure all communications comply with Plain Language guidelines and 508 standards
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and training sessions while leveraging change management methodologies for effective adoption
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for government clearances
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in developing and executing strategies for federal programs
- Prosci Change Management Certification or similar professional certification preferred
- Expertise in executive-level communications and stakeholder engagement
