Senior Compensation Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the Accounting department, the remote Senior Compensation Accountant will assist with compensation accounting functions, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close processes on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the compensation accounting team with timely task completion and accuracy
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations related to compensation
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Payroll, and Legal on compensation-related projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and audit procedures
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in large data sets and complex models
• Ability to explain accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders
