Senior Compiler Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Performance Compiler Engineer to work on the open-source Triton compiler project.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate NVIDIA GPU hardware architecture and programming models
• Design and implement compiler technology to optimize high-level kernel descriptions for efficient GPU code generation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product development and ensure maximum efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Math, or a related field
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience in software development
• Strong C++ programming and software design skills with a focus on performance analysis and debugging
• Experience in parallel programming, including CUDA/OpenCL or other parallel models
• Solid understanding of computer architecture and experience with assembly-level programming
