Senior Compiler Engineer

Job Summary

To support pioneering compiler development in high-performance computing, the full-time Senior Compiler Engineer will design and implement new features for CPUs and GPUs, collaborate with application teams on compilation challenges, and engage with the open-source community, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for high-performance CPUs and GPUs
• Work with application teams to address significant compilation problems
• Collaborate on projects related to high-performance computing and optimizations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, ECE, or related field (Ph.D. or Master's preferred)
• 6+ years of experience developing production-quality compilers or tools
• Proven understanding of compiler internals, front-ends, and optimizers
• Strong knowledge of programming fundamentals, especially in C/C++, and parallel computer architectures
• Experience with the EDG compiler front end or LLVM is a plus
