Senior Complex Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Managing complex, high-exposure property claims from first notice of loss through resolution, the full-time Senior Complex Claims Adjuster will investigate, negotiate, and settle represented and large-loss files while providing exceptional support to policyholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Examining and interpreting insureds' policies and records to determine coverage and liability
• Drafting and adjusting damage estimates using Xactimate and Xactanalysis while managing vendor relationships
• Negotiating settlements with attorneys and public adjusters to achieve fair outcomes

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of first-party property claims adjusting experience with exposure up to $100,000
• Hands-on experience managing attorney- and public adjuster-represented claims
• Proven ability to draft complex reservation of rights and coverage denial letters
• Skilled in Xactimate/Xactanalysis and familiar with multiple state regulatory requirements
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of guiding policyholders through challenging situations
