Senior Compliance Advisor

Job Summary

Advising customers on compliance and information security, the remote Senior Compliance Advisor will manage audit readiness programs, control mapping, and best practices for various compliance frameworks while collaborating with Customer Success teams.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on compliance requirements and audit readiness for frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001/27002
• Lead control mapping and cross-framework analysis to align customer controls with the Drata Control Framework
• Develop and present GRC best practices and provide mentorship to enhance team knowledge and success

Required qualifications

• 4 - 6 years of experience in audits and assessments for compliance programs, particularly SOC 2 and ISO 27001/27002
• Exposure to additional compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, and CMMC
• Strong understanding of GRC programs and processes
• Experience with GRC tools or cybersecurity technologies
• Proven ability to build positive relationships with customers and provide exceptional guidance
