Senior Compliance Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely within the Americas, the full-time Senior Compliance Analyst will manage compliance responsibilities for Shopify's financial products, including testing, monitoring, and policy development while contributing to high-priority compliance initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Own day-to-day compliance tasks for financial products, including testing, monitoring, and partner communication
- Collaborate to enhance and streamline the compliance program based on Shopify's risk profile
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and documentation, focusing on AML, KYC, and sanctions
Required qualifications
- Foundational experience in compliance, audit, risk, or a related field with exposure to financial services or fintech
- Proven track record in compliance monitoring, testing, and audit activities
- Strong ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt to shifting priorities
- Fast, self-directed learner capable of quickly understanding new regulatory frameworks
- Experience with AI or automation tools to improve compliance workflows
