Senior Compliance Associate

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Compliance Associate to manage the lifecycle of state lending licenses, oversee regulatory reporting, and act as the primary contact for state examinations in a full-time remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the multi-state mortgage and consumer lending license portfolio through the NMLS and state portals
• Manage the preparation and submission of new license applications and required state reports
• Serve as the lead project manager for state regulatory examinations, coordinating internal data-room preparation and drafting responses to findings

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of compliance or regulatory experience in mortgage lending or consumer finance
• High proficiency with the NMLS portal and strong understanding of federal and state lending regulations
• Experience leading state regulatory examinations
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field
• Familiarity with digital assets or blockchain technology is preferred
