Senior Compliance Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Compliance Auditor to join their Corporate Compliance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advanced compliance audits focused on revenue cycle activities, including medical coding, billing, and documentation
• Design internal audit programs and prepare audit workpapers, evaluating test results and drafting formal audit reports
• Provide consultative services to senior leadership and assist in the development of the Corporate Compliance annual audit work plan

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or 8 years of relevant experience
• 8 years of active coding experience and 2 years of auditing experience
• Knowledge of medical service documentation and electronic health records
• Relevant coding certification (e.g., RHIT, CCS, COC, CIC, CPC, CMC)
• Preferred Master's Degree in a related field and experience with data analytics software
