Job Summary
To ensure compliance within a federal health program, the full-time Senior Compliance Review Specialist will plan and conduct structured reviews, develop risk-informed methodologies, and assess evidence to validate adherence to applicable requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a risk-informed compliance review methodology and procedures aligned with government direction
- Conduct reviews to validate program participation and compliance with applicable requirements, documenting findings and recommendations
- Assess submitted records for sufficiency and reliability, identifying exceptions and potential noncompliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, auditing, business administration, public administration, compliance, healthcare administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, monitoring, internal control, investigative review, or regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated experience in planning audits, collecting evidence, and preparing clear findings and recommendations
- Knowledge of audit principles, evidence sufficiency, and corrective-action tracking
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint or comparable audit and document-management tools
