Senior Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Compliance Specialist, this full-time role will manage compliance programs, maintain key certifications, and oversee privacy initiatives while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support governance activities across the security, privacy, and compliance program, including documentation and audit trails
• Help maintain and improve active certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type II while ensuring ongoing compliance
• Oversee the development and management of the privacy program in collaboration with Legal, Security, IT, and business stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in security, privacy, or compliance
• 2+ years of experience in a technology company, such as an Independent Software Vendor or SaaS provider
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulations like ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and GDPR
• Experience with compliance operations, audits, and risk management processes
• Working knowledge of cloud technologies and managed service environments
