Senior Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
To support mortgage compliance operations, the full-time remote Senior Compliance Systems & Testing Specialist will manage regulatory change management, compliance reviews, and the implementation and testing of the Loan Origination System (LOS), ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Compliance representative for LOS implementation projects and major system upgrades, ensuring compliance with mortgage regulations
- Develop and execute compliance-focused test scripts and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for various system processes and configurations
- Conduct internal compliance reviews and assist with regulatory examinations, providing documentation and management responses as needed
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of mortgage lending experience in Compliance, Quality Control, Operations, or related functions
- Strong knowledge of federal and state mortgage lending laws, including TILA/Reg Z, RESPA, and HMDA
- Experience with compliance testing, audits, and handling regulatory examinations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with loan origination systems
- Mortgage Compliance Certified Professional (CMCP) designation or equivalent preferred
