Senior Component Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Component Design Engineer (RPA) - Contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design solutions for reactor structures and components, including the rotatable plug assembly equipment
• Coordinate inputs and requirements from Engineering and Project teams to develop design solutions
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers to resolve design and fabrication issues

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of eight years of design experience
• Extensive experience with equipment and component design, familiar with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III
• Proficiency in finite element stress analysis and mechanical analysis tools like ANSYS
• Familiarity with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Experience writing detailed design specifications and knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
