Senior Composer

Job Summary

Seeking a talented and experienced Senior Composer for a full-time remote position, who will collaborate with the Music Director and creative partners to create emotionally compelling music that enhances gameplay and storytelling across Blizzard's games.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Music Director and other team members to develop musical content for in-game experiences and cinematics
• Manage the music creation process from concept to implementation, ensuring aesthetic consistency across all projects
• Organize and direct recording sessions, working closely with musicians and production partners to deliver high-quality musical content on schedule

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional composition experience for games, film, television, or interactive media
• Expert proficiency in one or more professional DAWs and modern virtual instrument libraries
• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and communicate risks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong foundation in traditional music arts, including notation and orchestration
• Passion for games and interactive storytelling, with familiarity with Blizzard IP preferred
