Senior Computer Operator

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Assistant Computer Operator will manage computer operations by entering commands, setting up equipment, monitoring outputs, and ensuring job production completion while adhering to standard procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Enters commands on various computer and peripheral equipment to facilitate operations
• Monitors equipment for errors and implements standard procedures for troubleshooting
• Maintains documentation of job activities and manages operational supplies

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D
• One or more years of technical training in computer operations or a related field preferred
• Two or more years of experience in computer operations
• Experience with systems infrastructure, including hardware configuration and operating systems
• Familiarity with system job control language and computer desktop packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
