Senior Computer Vision Engineer

Job Summary

Building the technical foundation for a new AI business, the full-time Senior Computer Vision Engineer will design, prototype, and productionize perception systems focused on egocentric vision and AI training data, working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve Stord's Embodied AI data products, ensuring high-quality datasets across various tiers
• Design and develop complex perception systems, including object detection, tracking, and multi-view 3D pose estimation
• Train, optimize, and deploy computer vision models on large-scale video datasets, establishing robust evaluation methodologies

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in production computer vision or perception systems, or an MS/PhD with 6+ years of hands-on industry experience
• Demonstrated experience in developing egocentric vision, robotics perception, or AI data platforms
• Deep expertise in computer vision fundamentals, including CNNs, object detection, and 3D vision
• Proficient in Python and strong software engineering fundamentals; C++ experience preferred
• Ability to manage complex perception challenges from data collection to model deployment
