Senior Conceptual Designer

Job Summary

To support the Social Team, the full-time contract Senior Conceptual Designer will research and develop original content ideas, design graphics and motion graphics, and write engaging copy to captivate audiences on social media.

Key responsibilities

• Researching and ideating a consistent pipeline of content that aligns with cultural moments and Wikipedia's mission
• Writing on-brand copy and designing visually engaging graphics for social media platforms
• Developing organized systems for tracking content, deliverables, and approvals at scale

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in social media content creation, graphic design, or motion design
• A strong portfolio showcasing design and copywriting skills with innovative social-first work
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
• Proven ability to independently research and produce original social media content ideas
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality work on deadline
