Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support software delivery
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document and ensure compliance with software product parameters
- Design and implement automated productivity tools to enhance software modeling and development processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Proficiency with source control systems and branching/merging strategies
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
