Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support VA applications and lead the migration to the cloud
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software
- Train software developers on CM tools and ensure compliance with software quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with source control systems and branching/merging strategies
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
