Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration tools
- Design and implement build procedures and develop software configuration standards for company-wide use
- Provide technical guidance and lead training for junior analysts in configuration management best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with source control systems and branching/merging strategies
- U.S. Citizenship required and must qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
