Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with software quality standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support software delivery and control
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and ensure sustainability
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and best practices while providing technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with source control systems and branching/merging strategies
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
