Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with software quality standards in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and maintain software configuration management tools
- Design and implement build procedures for software development while providing technical guidance to stakeholders
- Train junior analysts in configuration management best practices and ensure compliant build and deployment processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
