Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the migration of VA applications to the cloud, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration tools, perform release engineering tasks, and develop automation scripts while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support both internally developed and COTS software
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure compliance with standard hardware configurations
- Train software developers in CM tools and implement software quality standards across projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools, source control systems, and scripting for automation
- Experience managing COTS software and understanding of software quality standards
- U.S. Citizenship required and must qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
