Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliance with software quality standards in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration management tools
- Perform release engineering tasks and ensure documentation of software product opening parameters
- Train software developers in configuration management tools and lead junior analysts in best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience in software configuration management and release engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Proficiency in scripting for automation using languages like Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position, along with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
