Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and spearhead cloud migration, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure compliance with standard hardware configurations
- Train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and software quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience leading and delivering complex software builds and releases in regulated environments
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
