Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software products
- Design, implement, and automate build procedures to support software product development
- Train software developers on CM tools and software quality standards while providing technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting languages for automation, such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
