Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with software quality standards in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support configuration identification and control
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and ensure compliance
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and implement software quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems, such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity, along with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
