Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with software quality standards in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools and standards for internal and COTS software
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document and ensure compliance of software products
- Train developers on configuration management tools and provide technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting languages for automation, including Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- U.S. Citizenship required for this position, along with eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
