Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliance with build and deployment processes in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internal and commercial software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and ensure compliance
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and quality standards while providing technical guidance on complex issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, along with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in leading complex software builds and releases within regulated environments
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools and scripting for automation, including languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- U.S. Citizenship required and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
