Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with build and deployment processes in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and develop software configuration management tools
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and ensure compliance
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and standards while providing technical guidance on complex issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Familiarity with source control systems and branching/merging strategies
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required
