Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and develop software configuration management tools
- Perform release engineering tasks and document software product parameters to comply with standard configurations
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and lead junior analysts in best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting languages for automation, such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- U.S. citizenship and ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
