Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee cloud migration, and ensure compliance with software quality standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and ensure compliance
- Train software developers on CM tools and implement software quality standards while providing technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience leading complex software builds and releases in regulated environments
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, source control systems, and scripting for automation
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
