Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with software quality standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support software delivery and reporting
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document and ensure compliance with software product parameters
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and best practices while providing technical guidance on complex issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting languages for automation, such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- Understanding of software quality standards and governance frameworks
