Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration tools
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure software compliance and sustainability
- Design and implement automation and productivity tools to enhance software development processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required for this position
