Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and ensure compliant build and deployment processes
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools and standards for internal and COTS software products
- Train software developers on CM tools and best practices while collaborating with stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
