Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with software quality standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support software delivery and compliance
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document and ensure sustainable software product parameters
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and best practices while providing technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Knowledge of software quality standards and governance frameworks
