Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliance with software quality standards in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the migration of VA applications to the cloud and develop software configuration management tools
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure compliance with standard hardware configurations
- Train software developers on CM tools and provide technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance are required
