Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support VA applications and lead the migration to the cloud
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software
- Train software developers on CM tools and implement software quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering
- Deep expertise with CI/CD tools and source control systems
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance
