Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliance with software quality standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration management tools
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document software product parameters and ensure compliance
- Train software developers in configuration management tools and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and scripting for automation (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Experience with source control systems and branching/merging strategies
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
