Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the migration of VA applications to the cloud, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software products
- Design and implement build procedures to support software product development and ensure compliant deployment processes
- Train software developers in CM tools and software quality standards while leading junior analysts in best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated environments
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools, source control systems, and scripting for automation
- Experience managing COTS software, vendor patches, and version control
- U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity, with eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
