Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration efforts, develop software configuration management tools, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the migration of VA applications to the cloud and develop software configuration management tools
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to document and ensure compliance of software products
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and implement software quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
