Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications and lead cloud migration efforts, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will develop and maintain software configuration management tools, perform release engineering tasks, and provide technical guidance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and manage software configuration processes
- Design and implement build procedures to enhance software product development and maintain productivity tools
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and ensure compliance with software quality standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within regulated environments
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and source control systems
- Experience with scripting languages for automation, such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
