Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage cloud migration, develop software configuration management tools, and lead release engineering tasks in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the migration of VA applications to the cloud and ensure compliant build and deployment processes
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools, including automation and productivity tools
- Train software developers on configuration management tools and quality standards while providing technical guidance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises
- Deep expertise with CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting languages for automation, such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- U.S. Citizenship required, with eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
