Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, lead cloud migration efforts, and ensure compliance with software quality standards in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internally developed and COTS software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure compliance and sustainability of software products
- Train software developers on CM tools and implement software quality standards while providing technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises
- Experience with CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to qualify for a Public Trust security clearance
