Senior Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
To support Veterans Affairs applications, the full-time Senior Configuration Analyst will manage software configuration management tools, oversee the migration to the cloud, and ensure compliance with software quality standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software configuration management tools for both internal and COTS software products
- Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure documentation and compliance with standard hardware configurations
- Train software developers on CM tools and best practices while providing technical guidance on complex problems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in software configuration management and release engineering within large, regulated enterprises or federal environments
- Expertise in CI/CD tools and source control systems, including Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with scripting for automation using languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a Public Trust security clearance
